Job Summary

We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Bridge Design Engineer) to join our team! As a Structural Engineer, work will include bridge and freeway structures design and inspection.

Responsibilities

Project Management
Design and production of construction documents
Supervision of junior engineers
Go out into the field as needed to observe the construction and ensure the drawings are being followed appropriately
Manage subconsultants for projects in the Pacific and the State of Hawaii
Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering desired with two to five years of structural design experience in bridge design and/or other types of infrastructure design
Must hold current Hawaii Structural license or be willing to obtain
Must have a working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD design guide
Must have a working knowledge of CSIBridge, SAP, RISA, and AutoCAD at a minimum
Must be willing to work on all types of infrastructure design projects
The ability to work well both independently and within a team
