Estimator

An established and expanding steel fabrication company is seeking a Structural Steel Estimator to join its growing team. This position plays a key role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for Large-scale metal fabrication Projects

Key Duties

• Analyze engineering drawings and interpret specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates
• Collaborate with engineers, shop foremen, project managers, vendors, and customers
• Source materials and obtain vendor quotations
• Generate purchase orders and assist with bid proposals
• Support estimating for fracture-critical work and complex fabrication projects
• Participate in meetings to define project scope and requirements
