OPS Application Programmer / Developer

Job Description :

Main Responsibilities :

• C++ Knowledge : Develop C++-based program components for a user interface (UI), with focus on graphics processing of bridge finite element analysis models via DirectX application programming interfaces (APIs). Perform coding tasks assigned by senior programmers and managed through the BSI queuing system.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to improve performance and stability. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. Optimize code for speed, memory usage, and overall performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and standards. Maintain and enhance existing software systems.
• Develop components of a C++ software packages for site characterization and geostatistical analysis of deep foundations. Compile, organize and document tasks, in coordination with engineers and other programmers, in the BSI queuing system.
• DirectX Graphics Programming : Maintaining DirectX graphics in BSI softwares, developing C++ based program components for user interface graphics processing with proficiency in DirectX, linear algebra, calculus, MFC, and C++.
• Azure DevOps : Experience with Azure DevOps for efficient project management and collaboration.
• Technical Assistance : Provide technical assistance to users encountering issues with C++ software packages.

Expected Salary :

$-$ per hour commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization, and three years of relevant experience, or an associate degree and five years of experience.

Preferred :

Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming. Experience with STL, templates, and modern C++ techniques. Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and memory management. Familiarity with debugging tools and performance profiling. Experience with version control (Git). Familiarity with DirectX. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for video editing, document preparation, and basic design is a plus.
