Who Is Jlm Strategic Talent Partners And What Is Our Role

We partner with national and international prime contractors to provide them with qualified talent they can trust. We accomplish this by sourcing and vetting high-level career-seeking candidates in the industry and match them with our partners current open roles. Our objective is to help our general contractor partners build out project teams for high-level infrastructure projects across the US. We aspire to partner with candidates who are eager to learn, grow, and progress in their career path while deepening their knowledge in their given field. The Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in construction and / or transportation
  • They thrive in a fast paced and a team oriented environment
  • They get excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time
  • An individual who will do well in this position is self-oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable
  • Comfortable working within a team environment at the project site

    • Key Responsibilities / Skills

  • Prepare and manage change orders
  • Prepare and manage procure to pay process
  • Administration of payment procedures
  • Administration of back-charges and resolution of claims
  • Interface with project controls and project leadership on changes and progress regarding seller and subcontractor management
  • Interface with multiple departments and disciplines to evaluate seller / subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  • Interface with business services for invoice and document management resolution
  • Interface with seller / subcontractors regarding proper documentation backup, contract procedures, and work under the direction of project controller(s) / contracts manager
  • Oversee sub-contractors
  • Track material costs and quantities entering project sites
  • Create reports based on monthly material costs and inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
