Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is looking for passionate educators, professionals, creatives, and hobbyists who want to make a difference by teaching in our 2026 Summer Camp Program .
These camps are all about hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration for youth ages 8-16 .
Instructors are responsible for the well-being and education of the students. A lead instructor may have either a degree / experience in education or significant experience in one of the content areas being taught. In addition to teaching responsibilities, lead instructors are also responsible for supervision and adherence to site policies.
This position is temporary, part-time for our Continuing Education department. The Camp runs in June and July; workweeks are Monday-Thursday. Hours are typically 9 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM, and 1 : 00 PM -4 : 00 PM, but are scheduled based on your preference and availability.

Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
