McKoon, Williams, Atchley & Stulce, PLLC, Chattanooga office, is still growing and seeking an Associate attorney with interest and experience in diverse civil litigation. Some experience in contract, corporate, real estate and business law is preferred, but not required.

The position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative team of seasoned attorneys, newer attorneys and paralegals working in many different areas of practice.

Minimum Qualifications include :

  • JD degree from approved law school
  • Licensed, active member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar, or be willing to obtain a Tennessee License
  • Excellent writing, communication, and research skills

Basic Responsibilities include :

  • Handle cases with based on level of experience
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and conference notes
  • Conduct depositions and handle all types of court appearances
  • Manage caseload and deadlines
  • Conduct discovery, legal research, analyze and summarize legal documents
  • Work with other attorneys and paralegals on complex cases and legal projects
  • Target of 150 billable hours per month
