Tax Accountant

Job Overview :

This role provides support across various tax-related functions, including compliance, reporting, and audit activities. Responsibilities involve assisting with tax calculations, filings, reconciliations, and research, while helping ensure accuracy and timeliness in all tax processes. The position also contributes to financial reviews, process improvements, and special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with the preparation and review of various tax-related calculations and reports.

Support compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments.

Help maintain tax schedules, calendars, and related documentation.

Participate in the preparation and review of financial and audit materials, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors as needed.

Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries related to tax processes.

Support research and analysis of tax matters to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Contribute to process improvements, policy updates, and cross-functional initiatives.

Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5  years of tax and accounting experience.

Experience with ERP systems and tax software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred).

Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax code.

Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working Style : Hybrid in Tampa, FL
