Landscaping Team Member with Driving Responsibilities
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our landscaping team! As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful outdoor spaces through lawn mowing, clean-ups, mulching, trimming, and much more. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and backhoes.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks, with a focus on weed control and chemical applications, in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Mix, transport, and apply chemical products following legal guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Crew Leader and Operations Manager to execute installation plans.
- Assist in loading and unloading tools and supplies on trucks.
- Maintain equipment as per the preventative maintenance program and ensure cleanliness and storage of tools.
- Follow safety protocols and complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including vehicles, trailers, and storage areas.
- Report issues concerning equipment, supplies, or site conditions to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and instructional guidelines.
- Focus on delivering high-quality work and completing tasks on time.
- Participate in required training programs.
- *May be required to transport crew members safely in a company vehicle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read architectural drawings.
- Capable of working independently with attention to detail.
- Ability to teach and train new team members.
- Able to follow property maps and plans.
- Punctual and dependable, committed to meeting work obligations regardless of seasonal changes.
- Organized, motivated, honest, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented.
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in reading and understanding instructions; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrates accountability in attendance and task completion.
- Solution-oriented, able to apply feedback for improvement.
Education & Experience
- 2+ years of landscape installation experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Possession of a State Technician and/or Applicator license as required locally.
Pre-Screen
- Selected candidates may need to complete a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and MVR check.
License & Certifications:
- Driver's License preferred, but not required.
