Facilities & Machine Maintenance Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities & Machine Maintenance Technician to support the launch of a new manufacturing process. This role will play a key part in retrofitting an existing facility, installing new production machinery, and coordinating specialty contractors during startup. Once operations are live, this position will transition into full responsibility for ongoing facility and production equipment maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys building something from the ground up and then owning its long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities
Startup & Installation Phase
- Assist with retrofitting an existing building to support a new production process
- Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new production machinery
- Coordinate and oversee specialty contractors (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, utilities, etc.)
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification
- Help establish preventive maintenance schedules and documentation
