Production Technician - Assembler
The Production Technician-Assembler supports manufacturing operations by assembling components and finished products, performing routine testing, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow, quality, and ontime delivery.
Hours : 8am to 5pm, M-F; schedule may change after training
Pay : $20 / hour

Production Technician-Assembler Responsibilities :
- Prepare and configure stock units for shipment, including labeling
- Assemble components and products across multiple product lines
- Program and calibrate microprocessors and computerbased controls
- Conduct routine testing of components and subassemblies
- Package finished units and prepare them for shipment
- Receive and inspect incoming components from suppliers
- Support weekly and annual cycle counts
- Complete production orders and documentation in the ERP system
- Pull components for production builds
- Follow and improve build protocols to ensure reliability and repeatability
- Meet production deadlines and support ontime shipments
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
- Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs through component or process improvements
- Comply with all ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements

Use mechanical and electrical test equipmentIdentify improvements to product mechanical or electrical featuresSupport field product repairs as neededParticipate in Lean Manufacturing and other processimprovement initiativesProduction Technician-Assembler Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalentProficient with basic hand and power toolsAbility to learn quickly with strong attention to detailDemonstrated problemsolving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environmentStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesPreferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in electromechanical manufacturingAssociate degree in a technical disciplineAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and proceduresKnowledge of mechanical / electrical debugging techniquesExperience with engineering methods such as Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, modeling, tolerance analysis, or data analysisAbility to drive for extended periods; travel up to 10%Availability for overtime, evenings, or weekends as neededThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leader in its industry.
