Senior Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical specifications for distribution transformers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements

Perform mechanical calculations and prepare manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, and 3D CAD models

Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and support design improvements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

7+ years of experience in design engineering of electrical distribution equipment, preferably in a transformer manufacturing environment

Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools (e.g., CAD, FEA, simulation software)

Strong understanding of transformer operating principles and associated manufacturing processes

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
