You are undeterred by a team environment where decisions and people move quickly as you help us explore and find creative ways to evolve, expand and express our social media presence, enliven our internal communications and ignite the stories we tell our customers in ways that get noticed and remembered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with the DI marketing team to help develop evergreen content, elevate campaign initiatives and familiarize yourself with DI's communication platforms (i.e., social media, website audits/updates and, email, etc.).
• Ability to jump in with real-time sales and marketing needs to enhance the customer experience (i.e. collateral, etc.)
• Assist with DI internal communication efforts, such as monthly email newsletters and huddles, internal and external event coordination, where appropriate.

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Both strong copywriting and content creation skills along with meticulous proofreading and editing skills.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your copywriting skills but will also showcase content platform versatility and curiosity.
• Experience working collaboratively, being a brave contributor and deadline focused.
• Creatively curious and can demonstrate tackling challenges from different angles.
• The ability to pivot and respond positively to tasks being re-prioritized.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and is a self-starter with high energy and professionalism.
• Exude a "go where needed" attitude and outlook on role.
• Comfortable with failing forward while learning fast.
• Strong organization, project management, and attention to detail required.
• Preferred majors: Graphic Design / Marketing.
• Demonstrated videography, vlogging and photography skills are a plus.

Additional details:

The Marketing Internship is an hourly (non-exempt), full-time opportunity that runs from June 1st, 2026 - July 31st, 2026. Applications will close on February 28, 2026. This is an onsite Monday - Friday internship in our Kansas City location. You must be at least 18 years of age, and currently enrolled as a college junior or senior or actively enrolled in a related postgraduate program. Please submit a portfolio with your application. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and hold a valid driver's license.
