Nurse Practitioner-Nurse Practitioner

Banner - University Medicine seeks a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The selected ACNP directly manages cardiac intensive care unit patients within a division that is committed to the growth and career development of their team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable being involved in evening care management of patients, performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position is also open to highly motivated new grads with prior critical care or cardiovascular experience that value a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current ACNP certification
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
• Experience or New Grads with previous cardiology or critical care experience are encouraged to apply!

Work Schedule:

• Full Time
• 3-12 hour shifts per week
• Night, Swing and Weekend Shifts Required
