Front of House Team Member

Pay: $18-$24 Per Hour

In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Your responsibilities will include managing customer interactions, handling food and cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area.

Duties

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS or similar systems.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register operations.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food handling safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques.
• Experience with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A passion for culinary arts or experience in grocery store settings is advantageous.
