[job_card.job_description]Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters. Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by answering questions and offering directions as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities. Document and report all access control activities and any security-related incidents according to company and client requirements. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location. A guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard - Distribution Access Control in La Habra, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and managing entry points at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.
