What's your day like?

As a Food Program Specialist at Family Resources Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the food program by monitoring childcare provider homes to ensure compliance with USDA regulations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing menus, meal counts, and claims, ensuring that every aspect meets the highest standards. You will also have the rewarding opportunity to train new childcare providers on USDA requirements, empowering them to deliver nutritious meals to children.

In addition, you will provide vital technical assistance to providers, helping them navigate challenges and enhance their programs effectively. Your expertise will shape the future of food quality and safety in childcare, making a meaningful impact in the community!

Lastly, reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary for extensive travel across four counties.

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to use personal vehicle for extensive driving across four(4) counties
• Must have a valid driver's license
• clear driving record and proof of motor vehicle insurance
• Background compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice
