Job Details

Alliance Building Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Night Foreman to oversee evening cleaning operations in a commercial building setting. This is a working foreman role, combining leadership with hands-on execution to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise and direct nightly janitorial staff to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
2. Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, and trash disposal.
3. Conduct nightly inspections to verify cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
4. Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and thorough execution.
5. Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
6. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
7. Respond to urgent building service requests and resolve issues promptly.
8. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
9. Complete shift reports, incident logs, and communicate updates to management.
10. Foster a positive team environment through respectful leadership and accountability.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or building maintenance.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
3. Hands-on experience with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques.
4. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
8. Prior experience in a commercial building setting is required.
9. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
10. Willingness to work any of the designated shift times and occasional overtime or weekends.

This is a 32 BJ Union Position with Benefits

Rate: $33.63/hour + Overtime Available

Shifts Available:

• 12:00 PM- 8:00 PM
• 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM
