Position Purpose

We are seeking a strategic Director of Technology to lead the development and optimization of our Real-Time Data Infrastructure . In this high-impact role, you will oversee the engineering strategy for our central data store, ensuring that mission-critical customer and transaction data is delivered seamlessly via high-performance APIs. You will be tasked with driving technical innovation, scaling cloud-native architectures, and mentoring a world-class engineering team within a fast-paced, "fail-fast" agile environment.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership : Direct the technical roadmap for the enterprise data layer, aligning engineering efforts with overarching business goals and digital transformation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Architects and Product Owners to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

Architecture & Standards : Define the "gold standard" for microservices architecture, API design, and data governance to support high-concurrency enterprise applications.

Operational Excellence : Champion system reliability and performance; oversee proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and the maintenance of rigorous SLAs.

Engineering Culture : Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by refining CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern deployment methodologies.

Financial Stewardship : Manage departmental budgets, resource forecasting, and strategic vendor partnerships to maximize ROI.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Leadership Tenure : 7+ years in technology leadership, including at least 2 years managing full-stack development and operations for enterprise-level platforms.

Technical Breadth : Strong command of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.

Executive Presence : Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.

Preferred Expertise

Technical Stack : Advanced proficiency in Java Spring Boot and AWS Cloud Services .

Modern Tooling : Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) orchestration and containerization.

Data Mastery : Proven track record in real-time data processing and enterprise API management.

Industry Domain : Experience within the FinTech or Banking sectors is highly desirable
