Assist in planning and implementing in-room programming (skilled residents as wellas self-directed)..
Assist with planning, developing, scheduling, organizing and fullfulling a program of activities for the facility's residents including, but not limited to, social, religious, physical, intellectual and service-oriented activities, both inside and outside the facility.
Post a wriiten montly activity schedule. Activities shall be both group and individual.
Works flexible schedule as assigned by the Activity Director.
Assist with programs of volunteer service, including interviewing, orienting and regularly communicating with them.
Maintains current and accurate documents related to the activities program, including leisure interest assessments, care plans with measurable goals, releveant progress notes and documentation of resident participation and response to activities.
Assist with the Activity Director, as requested, in promotion of a positive image of the facility anad community involvement with in the facility.
Attents the interdisciplinary care plan meetings upon request of the Activity Director.
Particpates in the in-service and conducts in-service when requested, to other staff members and volunteers in activities.
Provide transpotation service to wheechair bound and ambulatory residentents in company vehicles. This includes medical appointments and off-site activities. Training will be provided on the basic operation of the company vehicles. Must retain working knowledge of the resident van operation, wheelchair lift and all other safety features in the vehicle.
Attends stand up meeting as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Frequently make rounds visits patients in their room.
Frequent pushing and pullin.
Occasional bending, squatting, reaching and grasping.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED.
Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the task required
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
