Key Responsibilities
Processes precertification requests for behavioral health services in compliance with guidelines
Verifies member eligibility and provider participation status using multiple database systems
Enters data into computer systems and approves services as per departmental guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Previous experience in social work or a related field recommended
Previous customer service experience is required
Previous medical insurance experience is highly recommended; behavioral health experience is a plus
Coding knowledge recommended
