Substitute Teacher

Position Overview:

We are seeking responsible, enthusiastic, and flexible Substitute Teachers to support our educational programs. This is an on-call, as-needed position ideal for individuals passionate about youth development and interested in gaining hands-on experience in a classroom environment. You will fill in for lead teachers during absences or scheduled leave across our six educational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day instruction and classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans and program routines provided by the site staff.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Supervise and ensure the well-being of students throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different age groups and program locations.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
