Baptist Health is looking to add an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team working in the Core Laboratory Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, nights opportunity, working 10 hour shifts from 8:30pm to 7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays.

This candidate must hold a Supervisor license in Medical Technology in the State of Floridaand have at least five years of experience as a Medical Technologist, progressive management experience is also required. This Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling, observing staff performance competencies, supporting accreditation requirements for College of American Pathologists regulations, attending Performance Improvement Team Meetings, and working the bench when needed.

As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Exercising general oversight of all technical sections and performing supervisory functions for all staff of the Laboratory Services department.
• Ensuring that Laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent Medical Laboratory practices.
• Assuming limited administrative responsibilies for Laboratory operations.
• Maintaining expertise and performing technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department and clerical functions in one or more laboratory section.
