Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center (VBPC) is a -bed freestanding psychiatric hospital located near the beautiful resort area of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a short -minute drive to the ocean front. VBPC offers acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for adults years and older. The hospital is accessible hours a day for admissions, and includes mental health assessments and an excellent referral network. Treatment programs and specialty services at VBPC include substance abuse, dual diagnosis and partial hospitalization.

Qualifications

Shift : 7am-7pm

• Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with licensure and registration by the Virginia Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse.
• One year prior adult psychiatric and chemical dependency experience preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of basic psychiatric nursing procedures working with a general population including adults and chemically dependent individuals.
