The Judge Group is partnering with a leading technology organization in the SaaS and customer communications space to fill a Senior Network Engineer role. This company is financially stable, invests heavily in enhancing its platform, and supports digital transformation for clients through personalized, multichannel communications. They maintain an in-person-first culture while offering limited remote flexibility.
The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer who can maintain and support enterprise-level network architecture from end to end. This individual will play a critical role in cleaning up technical debt, ensuring network security, and collaborating across teams. Strong communication skills and ownership of responsibilities are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN,
- Configure and install network hardware/software (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
- Monitor network performance and integrity using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages; provide Level 2/3 support
- Maintain network security through firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business initiatives
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve network performance and security
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in network engineering or administration (senior-level only)
- Ability to design and build enterprise network architecture (“soup to nuts”)
- Expert understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP,
- Hands-on experience with Cisco AND Juniper (both required)
- Palo Alto firewall experience (must-have)
- Routing and switching expertise (must-have)
- ITIL knowledge (must-have)
- Certifications and degrees are not required if experience meets expectations
Desired Skills
- Experience with VMWare, , or HP virtualization
- Strong knowledge of Azure services
- Linux administration and support

Onsite Requirements
- 4 days onsite per week (Monday and Friday required onsite; candidate chooses one remote day between Tue/Wed/Thu)
