Data Entry / Office Clerk
Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client seeking a Data Entry / Office Clerk to provide office support for shipping and receiving within the warehouse. Let's get to work! Gainesville, FL Schedule : FT, M-F 8AM - 4 : 30PM Pay Rate : $17.50-$20.09 / hr
Responsibilities :
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum of one to two years of data entry experience required.
- Shipping / Receiving experience is a plus. Must have worked in a team-based environment.
- Must have good computer skills. Able to type a minimum of 40wpm and utilize various office equipment with minimal to no assistance.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to utilize calculators to obtain mathematical formula results.
- Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Able to retain information such as item location and pack quantity.
- Able to stand, handle, or feel and reach with your hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and push / pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The shipping area is exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Areas with high noise levels require earplugs.
Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
