Overview
Job Summary : Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Burbank, California.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects including scope, schedule, resourcing for the technology team
- Support technology needs for live productions and / or studio stakeholders
- Lead 5+ concurrent technology initiatives with moderate complexity throughout their lifecycle
- Lead sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and reporting
- Serve as lead resource manager for all resources within the assigned pillar
- Work with business leads to assign tasks, follow up on status of tasks, and ensure that minimum number of hours are being tracker per resource per week / sprint
- Resource manage day-to-day activities for team members, ensuring blockers are removed and team throughput is maximized
- Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team
- Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates
- Maintain KPI dashboards related to program metrics via MS Power BI
- Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas, and implement projects or processes to streamline and improve operations
- Establish, track, and report on project progress, risks, and issues to engineering management, program management, and stakeholders
- Organize and maintain project documentation and artifacts in a clear and accessible manner
- Support portfolio reviews that provide executive leadership with progress and risk assessments against pillar objectives and key results, portfolio and project health, and resource utilization
- Support quarterly planning that establishes quarterly priorities, objectives and key results (OKRs), capacity plans, and key performance metrics that will be used to measure progress, health, and risk throughout the quarter
Desired Skills / Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience managing and developing teams to meet expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment3+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodologyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong experience in managing technical operations teamsAbility to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectivelyGood meeting facilitation skills and effective team playerUnderstanding of software programming / developmentExperience with project management tools, such as Smartsheet or MS ProjectStrong ability to develop and present business cases via PowerPoint or KeynoteStrong written and oral communications skillsAbility to create workflow drawings and process maps utilizing VisioPrevious experience working in a post-production environmentPMP certificationCertified Scrummaster is a plusExperience working with Post-Production EngineersBenefits

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
