Dental Assistant

Dentistry for Children and Adolescents is a patient-oriented dental practice looking for a friendly, reliable, and outgoing dental assistant to join our team. You must enjoy working with kids, teenagers, and those with special needs. This is a full-time position that operates Monday through Thursday with half-day Fridays every alternate week. We are looking for someone with outstanding communication skills, a patient and friendly personality, attention to detail, and the stamina to meet the physical demands of the job. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, setting up and breaking down operatories post-treatment, taking dental radiographs (x-rays), providing parents and patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment, educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health, and performing various office tasks as needed.

A dental assistant certificate is preferred but not required where state regulations specify. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The position is located at our Savannah office at 5901 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31405. This is a full-time position, and hourly pay is based on experience and on how well we feel you will complement our dental team, with a pay range of $16.50 to $19.00 per hour plus daily overtime for any hours worked beyond 8 hours.
