Senior QA Automation Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their Platform team and lead the test automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain a test automation framework from scratch using Cypress or Playwright

Develop and execute automated tests for APIs, UIs, and backend services, integrating them into CI / CD pipelines

Establish QA automation best practices and collaborate with developers to ensure testability of new features

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in test automation frameworks

Expert-level proficiency with Cypress / Playwright and strong programming skills in JavaScript / TypeScript

Solid experience with CI / CD principles and tools, particularly GitHub Actions

Extensive experience in API test automation and a deep understanding of web technologies

Proven history of mentoring engineers to foster a quality-first engineering culture
