Installer (Doors & Windows) - Paramount, CA
Salary : $26-$28 / hr & Full Benefits
Monday through Friday with Local Travel
Job Responsibilities :
- Read and understand shop-drawings and written specifications
- Receive, distribute, assemble and install windows and doors
- Maintain and repair windows and doors of previous projects, including onsite diagnosis and in-field problem-solving
- Use job specific tools for the window assembly, installation, maintenance and repair
- Maintain a safe and orderly job site including company equipment and transportation
- Clean up at the end of each work day
- Work efficiently with other installation team members
- Accurately clock in and out for jobs and breaks
- Maintain a positive, professional and motivated attitude even while under pressure
- Address and report any deficiencies related to rough openings, waterproofing and materials received
- Climb ladders
- Utilize lifting devices as necessary
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Follow installation manual and instructions from Team Leader and Supervisor
- Requirements :
- Proven record of successfully installed windows and doors or curtain walls
- Ability to correctly measure rough openings
- Ability to inspect waterproofing (provided by others) and to accept openings to perform installation
- Ability to travel within California and out of state on a regular basis for longer periods
- Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification
- Forklift certificate is a plus
- Clean driving record
- CA state driver license
- Being bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
- Close to production facility in Paramount, CA
