This role is where design meets technical precision. As our Décor Technical Designer , you will be the critical link between digital artwork and our final hard surface products. You won't just follow directions; you will actively lead the process of color mastery, prototyping, and material execution. This is your chance to use your exceptional eye for color and your technical skills to bring our trend stories to life, driving excellence and directly impacting the quality and aesthetics of our entire flooring portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Décor Technical Designer, your focus will be on precision, quality, and collaboration :

Color Development and Prototyping

• Collaborate closely with our design team and global vendors to develop on-trend colorways for new hard surface flooring products.
• Color-match and create samples and color standards for designer selection and portfolio updates.
• Actively print and assemble product prototypes and samples.
• Utilize industrial equipment, including a heat press and cutters, to construct prototypes by assembling materials like the core, backing, and wear layer to approved standards.
• Participate in design sessions and respond positively to development critiques, adjusting samples appropriately.

The salary range for this role is $65K to $80K a year and a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
