Summary:
The Community Education Nurse works independently in the community setting and is responsible for providing health assessment, prevention and health promotion to individuals, families and groups. Flexible work hours and days as determined by the needs of the department and at the discretion of the Department Manager and or Director.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
- Current RN license and 2 years nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical nursing skills.
- Documentation skills.
- Multidisciplinary professional communication/presentation skills (verbal & written) in order to serve as a resource to individuals, families and groups.
- Ability to travel and to be flexible with work schedule.
- Knowledge of public, community, cultural health theories and concepts.
- Program development skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
