- Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in performing endoscopic procedures, preparing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and sterilization standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a clinical setting, and the competence to manage scopes and support endoscopic procedures efficiently.Job Responsibilities:Maintain inventory of endoscopic equipment and suppliesPerform safety checks to ensure proper functionality of equipmentPrepare procedure rooms according to endoscopic requirementsClean, disinfect, and calibrate scopes and endoscopic instruments as per manufacturer and facility guidelinesMaintain and perform minor repairs on endoscopic equipmentPosition or transport patients based on medical personnel instructionsAssist physicians or registered nurses during endoscopic proceduresAttend in-service training sessions to maintain or enhance professional skillsRequired Skills:Knowledge of endoscopic instruments and sterilization techniquesBasic patient handling and positioning skillsEquipment troubleshooting and maintenanceStrong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and procedural complianceAbility to follow detailed instructions from physicians and RNsEffective communication and teamwork in a clinical environmentMust have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.Preferred Skills:Additional experience working with scope sterilization systemsFamiliarity with various types of endoscopic procedures and equipment brandsCertifications:BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
