Drew School is an independent, urban high school in San Francisco enrolling 300 students in grades 9 through 12. Drew knows and believes in teenagers. Position Overview

Drew School seeks a full-time Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek a teacher who has experience teaching Life Science / Biology. We seek an educator who will be a collegial, collaborative, and supportive school community member.

This position requires someone to teach four classes. We are seeking an experienced science educator with teaching experience across all levels of high school.

Our science program places a strong emphasis on inquiry-based, hands-on learning, and we value creativity and real-world application of scientific principles. We want to ensure that a new leader in our school also shares these values.

Salary range : $83,000 - $105,000 DOE

Teaching Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach 4 sections of science classes
• Serve as a student advisor
• Design and lead Experiential Electives
• Lead an Drew Education for Active Lifelong Learning (DEALL) week experience
• Mentor a student club activity
• Maintain high standards of professionalism
• Work in alignment with the mission of Drew School
