[job_card.job_description]Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain understanding of each project Assist in preparing accurate estimates (material, labor, overall costs) using Accubid Support bid preparation for tenant improvements, buildouts, and ground-up projects Assist with vendor bids and cost analyses Support project management duties, including job setup, scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking Attend job site walkthroughs and progress meetings with senior staff Compile actual costs and maintain organized project records Suggest improvements or ideas under guidance from senior staff Accubid experience (required) Basic commercial electrical estimating experience (can be entry-level if familiar with plans and takeoffs) Ability to read and interpret commercial plans and specifications Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Valid driver’s license Exposure to tenant improvement & ground-up commercial electrical projects Interest in learning project management and job coordination Proficiency in math, data analysis, spreadsheets, and reporting Strong attention to detail and time management Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Competitive pay + commission for well-managed projects under budget Benefits Package : Health, dental, vision, supplementals, paid holidays, PTO & 401k Stable commercial workload Mentorship and growth opportunity into a senior estimator Professional, team-oriented work environment

Chris M Electric is seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator / Project Manager with Accubid experience to support our commercial electrical division, including tenant improvement projects, retail and office buildouts, and ground-up construction.
This role is designed for someone who wants to learn and grow under the guidance of our senior estimator and management team, gaining hands-on experience from bid phase through project completion, including site walkthroughs and project meetings.
Main Objectives :
- Learn the strategies and processes of our Estimating Department
- Support senior estimators to ensure projects are profitable and meet client satisfaction standards
- Assist with larger projects and develop skills in commercial electrical estimating
- Build relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors while learning negotiation and bid strategies
- Contribute Value Engineering (VE) ideas under guidance
- Support projects through preconstruction and project management tasks
