Intake & Insurance Verification Specialist - Portland, OR | $20-$22/hr | M-F About the Role Our client needs an
Intake & Insurance Verification Specialist to ensure clean registration, accurate benefits, and timely authorizations so patients can be seen without delays.
What You'll Do- Complete new?patient intake , confirm demographics, and obtain required forms
- Verify insurance eligibility/benefits (commercial, Medicaid, Medicare)
- Secure prior authorizations and document reference numbers
- Communicate coverage, co?pays, and financial responsibility to patients
- Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and clinical teams to prevent claim denials
What You'll Bring- 1+ year of insurance verification/intake in a clinic, hospital, or RCM setting
- Working knowledge of payer portals and EDI workflows
- High accuracy with data entry and protected health information
- Friendly, professional communication with patients and payers
Compensation & Schedule- Pay: $20-$22 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Location: Portland, OR (onsite)
