    Sterile Processing Tech at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington :

  • The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.

    • Schedule available :

    o     Shift 1 : 9 : 00am – 5 : 30pm

    o     Shift 2 : 3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm

    Qualifications

    Education :

    High school graduate or equivalent

    Licensure / Certification :

  • CRCST or equivalent required.

    • Required Experience :

  • 1 years of experience as Instrument Room Technician.
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers.
  • Knows operation room instrumentation.
  • Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
  • Understands operation of steam / gravity sterilizer, Steris, washer sterilizer, and ultrasound unit.
