The Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Reno NV. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials and supplies throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels managing supplier relationships and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies. This position requires strong organizational skills a sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What Youll Do :

Coordinate the movement and availability of raw materials to meet production schedules.

Monitor inventory levels and maintain just-in-time stock levels to support operational efficiency.

Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain disruptions.

Analyze usage trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.

Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing delivery terms and service agreements.

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and procurement.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on material needs and timelines.

Support warehouse operations as needed including receiving organizing and distributing materials.

What We Seek :

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Basic understanding of inventory control and procurement processes.

Strong math organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Background in the semiconductor industry.

Completion of some college coursework in supply chain business or related fields.

A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.

A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
