Job Summary
The Office of Opportunity and Outreach (O&O) Operations Team seeks an experienced Program Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and program support to the Central Office of O&O. Under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will take ownership of evolving administrative responsibilities that directly contribute to O&O's mission and initiatives, and operational efficiency. The Program Coordinator is a key role in providing program coordination and administrative assistance to O&O's Vice Chancellor of Opportunity and Outreach (VCOO), Assistant Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff (AVC / COS), and Senior Program Manager, as well as supporting the overall operations of the Central Office, and high-impact initiatives such as the Discretionary Activities and Programs Certification and Review and Anti-Discrimination Initiative (ADI).
The Program Coordinator will assist in the development and management of O&O projects and programs. They will focus on executing and managing a range of administrative tasks, including tracking project deliverables and timelines, supporting cross-functional collaboration, scheduling and meeting coordination, event planning, budget support, and ensuring smooth and effective communication and collaboration with O&O teams and partners across UCSF.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resourceful, and proactive in managing administrative responsibilities with professionalism and discretion. They should be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with program directors, administrators, and external partners.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,600 (Annual Rate).
