Front Office Medical Receptionist

Description

Prior experience in a medical front office, concierge clinic, or patient-facing healthcare role preferred.

Strong customer service mindset with ability to provide a personalized, hospitality-forward experience.

Working knowledge of EMR / EHR systems.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain professionalism in a dynamic environment.

Comfortable assisting with basic clinical tasks.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive patient information (HIPAA compliance required).

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm, personalized concierge experience.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient messages with professionalism and efficiency.

Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and manage provider calendars.

Verify insurance information, collect copays / fees, and ensure accurate patient registration.

Maintain an organized, welcoming reception area aligned with concierge clinic standards.

Process patient paperwork, consent forms, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.

Manage daily front-office workflows, including end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

They see PPO / Medicare patients only, this role with do front desk, referrals, authorizations, etc.

Strong customer service and patient care.

A team player happy to support various departments.

Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
