Scientist I - Eurofins Eaton Analytical, Pomona, CA

Job Description

EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL, the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US, has a Scientist I opening at our Pomona Laboratory in the Microbiology department. This is a full time entry level position, 40 hours/week.

Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Routine coliform and HPC analysis
• Perform Legionella, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas analysis
• Quality Control responsibilities
• Perform data process, data entry and written documentation and validation
• Perform client notification
• Media making tasks

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Excellent aseptic technique
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Qualifications

• Two years of college level sciences courses preferably with labs
• Weekday/weekend position with possible overtime and holidays if necessary
• Excellent documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Information

Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 07:30p.m. (40 hours per week) with overtime as needed and rotating weekends/holidays.

Training Schedule: Monday – Friday 09:30 a.m.to 06:00p.m

compensation: $21 -22 / hour (DOE).
