Elementary Guide

Cleveland Montessori invites you to join our team of dedicated Montessori professionals. The school is seeking candidates with experience at the elementary level (1st-3rd or 4th-6th grades) for the 2024-25 school year. Montessori certification at the 6-12 level is ideal. The elementary guide will create a joyful, engaging environment that ignites a love for learning, self-confidence, and independence. An essential component for a successful guide is the ability to care for and nurture each child’s potential in a diverse community of learners. An experienced AMI Montessori coach is on staff to support the elementary classrooms.

Effective communication with parents and staff, confidence in record-keeping, lesson planning and good organizational skills are key components to this role. Health benefits are offered along with personal days, professional development and advancement opportunities, including consideration for elementary training sponsorship for someone who is already primary trained. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorships will not be considered at this time.

Cleveland Montessori is a small, independent, private school serving Primary through Adolescence (3-14 years). The school is located in a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of Cleveland’s Little Italy, home to quaint brick roads filled with art galleries, bakeries, and authentic Italian cuisine. To enhance the classroom experience, the school utilizes the culturally rich University Circle area, home to the city’s world-renowned museums and orchestra.
