The Tieg Welder III position is located in Dixon, IL  , and will be responsible for high level Tieg welding. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, 4 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm.

Role Responsibilities :

Welding of stainless steel and aluminum

X-ray vision penetration welding experience

Utilization of quality inspection tools – Calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect welds per blueprint requirements and various regulations

Complete first article inspection reports

Design tooling and fixtures to accomplish intricate setups of a wide variety

Problem-solving capabilities

May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues

Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.

Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Welding Certification

NAVSEA Certification Type III Qualified

Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.

Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.

Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.

Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.

Ability to read and understand work instructions

Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity

Basic math and measurement skills

Hourly Rate : $28.32

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
