We are looking for a skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This contract-to-permanent position requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism. The role involves working closely with a managing partner and supporting various legal and administrative tasks. MUST be Fluent in English and Italian or French.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain the managing partner's calendar, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are accurately scheduled.
- Coordinate meetings and handle scheduling requests with clients and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely and organized manner.
- Upload and manage legal documents using NetDocs, ensuring proper documentation and filing.
- Respond to client inquiries on behalf of the managing partner with professionalism and discretion.
- Draft and review legal documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information while adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Provide administrative support for various legal duties as assigned.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team to meet deadlines and objectives.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a law firm or similar legal environment.
- Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with legal document management systems such as NetDocs.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Italian or French, with a preference for Italian, is REQUIRED.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
