Nurse Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Elon Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our residents on weekends. Responsibilities:

• Oversee Weekend Nursing Operations: Provide leadership and guidance to our weekend nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care to our residents. Shift will be from 9am-930pm every weekend plus one shift during the week.
• Quality Care: Ensure that all residents receive high-quality, individualized care that meets their unique needs and preferences.
• Staff Management: Supervise and mentor our weekend nursing staff, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with our administrative team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to resident care.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot any issues that arise on weekends, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure continuity of care.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Current RN License: Current and active RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on nursing leadership and management.
• Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of nursing professionals.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
