Production Assembler / Woodworking Technician

Job Description

A manufacturing facility in Macungie is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Production Assembler to support the building and assembly of high quality musical and electronic components. This role involves hands on assembly, woodworking, inspection, and general production support in a clean, organized environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and sub assemblies according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions

• Perform woodworking tasks such as sanding, fitting, drilling, and finishing parts

• Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency

• Assist with material handling, staging parts, and preparing components for production

• Report defects, inconsistencies, or equipment issues to supervisors

• Follow all safety guidelines, quality standards, and production procedures

• Support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with team members

Requirements

• Previous experience in assembly, woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing preferred

• Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and basic measurements

• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to production needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macungie, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
