Description

• Conduct thorough assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using standardized evaluations and observational strategies.
• Create individualized treatment strategies that focus on both immediate goals and sustained improvement in communication, cognitive, or swallowing capabilities.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting fluent communication, effective language use, vocal clarity, and swallowing techniques.
• Partner collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, along with families to develop holistic care plans.
• Educate patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments to ensure seamless care throughout each patient's journey.
• Keep detailed and timely documentation according to local, federal, and organizational standards.
