Job Details : \n

2 years PACU experience required

On-call rotation nights and weekends with current staff

Weekend coverage only on-call (not scheduled weekends)

BLS (AHA) certification required

Michigan nursing license required

Continuously monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature

Monitor patient's level of consciousness during anesthesia recovery

Ensure patent airway and adequate respiratory function

Intervene quickly for airway obstruction or respiratory distress

Administer medications including painkillers, anti-nausea drugs, and fluids

Manage post-operative symptoms and maintain patient comfort

Assess surgical sites for bleeding or complications

Check dressings and perform comprehensive physical assessments

Recognize adverse reactions to anesthesia or surgery

Initiate appropriate emergency interventions when needed

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members regarding patient condition and care plans
