Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through comprehensive interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Engage closely with surgeons to tailor and enact individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a specific emphasis on surgical practices is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
