Quality Control Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Manager to support our client in Denver, CO. The Quality Control Manager will lead quality assurance and compliance activities across federal construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting project managers, site leadership, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager include:

·Implement and enforce the project’s Quality Control Plan (QCP)

·Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, UFGS specifications, and federal requirements

·Conduct inspections and materials testing; document results and corrective actions

·Manage the submittal process and maintain accurate submittal logs

·Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality concerns

·Provide training and guidance on quality procedures to staff and subcontractors

·Prepare daily reports, inspection logs, and non‑conformance documentation; report quality metrics to leadership

Qualifications for the Quality Control Manager include:

·Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

·3+ years of federal project experience

·Experience in construction quality control, quality assurance, or superintendent oversight

·Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality assurance practices

·Familiarity with UFGS and federal project specifications

·Proficiency with Excel and Bluebeam

·Strong understanding of IBC, ASTM, OSHA, and related regulatory standards

·Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

Compensation for the Quality Control Manager includes:

·Salary Range: $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience
