We are the VMS Co-Op, a group of fast growing companies in the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) space. The VMS Co-Op includes OLLY and SmartyPants and future acquisitions to come!

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Director of Technical Services is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of gummy production, ensuring that all processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves managing technical teams (internally and externally) and working cross-functionally with operations and quality in developing and implementing technical strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities include overseeing production processes, providing technical leadership, ensuring quality assurance, leading research and development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing team management, managing the technical budget, and collaborating with other departments.

Capabilities and skills required include a minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, technical expertise in gummy manufacturing, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and innovation.

During the interview process, candidates will undergo an initial video screen with a member of our Talent team, followed by conversations with the Hiring Manager and other team members, and a final round of homework.

The pay range for this position is $176,000-206,000 dependent on experience and location.
